Announcement with regard to the Eco-run Race 2011 WEM-GP Championship [November 29, 2011]

Thanks to its performance in the 2011 WORLD ECO MOVE Grand Prix (WEM-GP), the Mitsuba's Eco-run Team "Team Yoishotto! Mitsuba" was able to win the Grand Championship Award for this year.

An outline with regard to this achievement is noted below.


1. Details of the competition

All cars used lead batteries provided by the Competition Headquarters to assure equal conditions for all participants who covered the course within the specified time. This year, competitions were held for 5 categories.

* The categories varied with regard to the weight stipulations for the cars and the types of batteries utilized, as well as the specified times for completing the course, etc.

5. Mitsuba technology used in this year's competition

A coreless field adjustable motor and complementary WPM (synchronous rectification) were utilized in order to assure aerodynamic analysis and CAE analysis as well as to provide a light weight, high rigidity body construction, and then the car was loaded with ultra-low power and an ultra-lightweight controller. Furthermore, this helped to provide added capacitor voltage and a degree of freedom, and in order to create a broader range of strategies, the car was then loaded with an automatic buck-boost formula as a microcomputer formula with an independent DC/DC converter.
