We also consider it necessary to promote swifter and more flexible research and development in order for us to be able to respond to a rapidly changing market where the technology to address global environmental and safety issues as well as module production and other concerns are now in high demand.
Mitsuba R&D Center in Kiry and Yokohama R&D Base are now functionig as our Group Development Center. And furthermore, Mitsuba continues to promote the globalization of its R&D efforts by improving its overseas development systems currently located in the U.S., Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Italy, Germany, Thailand, through the globalization of its research and development efforts and by facilitating the development of more competitive products, in close cooperation with its domestic bases.
It is also our desire to promote our R&D from the viewpoint of “future pull” so that we can make fresh proposals with added values that satisfy the needs of our customers.

Production Engineering
"Mitsuba produces its own production lines." Guided by this motto, we develop most of the equipment we use on our own production lines including digitally-controlled automatic processing machines and assembling machines ourselves. We utilize CAD/CAM and CAE in the actual development of our products and our production equipment, and we are creating a database for future automatic designing activities for the purpose of further improving our development efficiency.
