This windmill is located in the Ogo Green Flower Park Ranch. While the site is called a "ranch", you won'td find any animals on the premises. But I found the presence of the windmill on this site to be so conspicuous that I decided to use it a theme for this painting. The blue sky seemed relatively prosaic to me at first, but as I look back on the finished work I regret having not painted a few white clouds in the upper portion of the sky in order to achieve an image of movement on the canvass.
