The Technical Olympics Skills Competition is held annually for the purpose of “nurturing young skilled workers who will assume the role of production in the future.” The competition is for those 21 years old or younger and in 47 skill categories including electronics, machinery, metalworking, construction and architecture, service, fashion, etc. Many MITSUBA employees who have participated in these competitions have earned silver and bronze medals in fields such as die trimming and machine-assembling in the national competitions.
Also, in last year's competitions, Mitsuba employees participated in the electric machinery assembly event at the Nationals for the first time.
