The Japanese market figures prominently in Mitsuba's global business. The seven plants mainly situated in Gunma Prefecture and the group companies coordinate to accomplish improvements in productivity and distribution speed.
The plants in Japan are also playing a greater role as the "mother plants" for production bases overseas, including the Americas, Europe, China and other Asian countries.
With guidance from the mother plants in Japan, as well as thoroughgoing human resource development, we aim to improve the manufacturing techniques at every international production base in addition to improving our global competitive edge.
