July 4 (Sun.): Participants joined the "Fureai Hana Ippai Project" sponsored by the Kiryu Municipal Welfare Association and scarlet sage seedlings were planted on the grounds of the Gunma Insect World along a 1-km section on the south side of the highway.
May 1, a social action program was carried out by the Onishi Plant. May 1 (Sat.): Volunteers split up into two groups and went out to gather empty cans and other garbage at the Sports Park and General Sports Park. This activity is carried out every year, but due to the vast accumulation of empty cans and garbage from nearby convenient stores, we are constantly reminded or our own bad manners. This year the volunteers gathered a total of 35kg of trash, including empty cans and bottles.
