December 5, The ""Forest Volunteer Activity" was held at the Niisato Plant. 32 volunteers joined in this refreshing activity in an effort to help maintain the forests.

December 5, Participants joined the "Fureai Hana Ippai Project" sponsored by the Kiryu Municipal Welfare Association and scarlet sage seedlings were planted on the grounds of the Gunma Insect World along a 1-km section on the south side of the highway.

November 1, The Omama Hometown Beautification Association held its "Nagame Park Regional Cleaning Project". 35 volunteers participated in this project that began early on a cold fall morning.

July 7, The area surrounding the Niisato Plant grounds was cleaned as a part of the "Regional Green Strategy".

July 5, A "Contribution-to-Society Activity" was held at the Akagi Plant.

June 27, Cleaning activities were carried out from the Kodaira-no-Sato Shonyu-do (cave formation) Park to the Shinsui (Water) Park.

June 20, a volunteer cleanup activity was carried out by the Tomioka Plant.
As a part of the local charitable activity program initiated two years ago, employees gather to weed the area around the old Tomioka Silk Reeling factory. This year there were 214 participants. The cloudy weather proved to be perfect weather for weeding the grounds, and all of the participants, including the plant manager worked up a sweat cleaning the area and avoiding any injuries.

May 29, our headquarters carried out a social action program activity .
On that day, members of the Production Planning Department turned out to collect garbage from the grounds surrounding the headquarters.

May 1, a social action program was carried out by the Tone Plant.
On May 1, an empty can and garbage collection activity, held as a part of our social action program, was carried out along the roadsides in the Oai district

April 25, a social action program that attracted 84 employees (including 30 trainees) was carried out by the Onishi Plant.
Participants split up into two groups that covered to courses in the vicinity surrounding the plant. The groups gathered a total of 25 kg of garbage, the same amount as collected last year. A large number of participants turned out, in spite of the rain, and the project was completed without incident.
