The first company in the prefecture to promote the employment of individuals with disabilities.

AMCO Corporation, an affiliate of the Mitsuba Corporation, was accredited as a special affiliated company promoting the employment of individuals with disabilities in December 2006. AMCO was the first company with its headquarters located within the prefecture to achieve this accreditation as a special company in accordance with the laws of Japan. The company deals with the manufacturing and design of automotive components, as well as the development of software on consignment as it promotes the increasing employment and support of independence for individuals facing various disabilities.
